…don’t know when I’ll be back again….
Actually, I do know…
I’ll be home on Sunday….
Song overcame me (as it normally does….)
But, I am leaving, bright and early tomorrow morning for Jackson, Mississippi….
I’ve never been to Jackson before, but the first half of the week has me working at our television stations and the weekend brings visiting with Connie (she’s one of my friends in the box that I’m so excited about meeting!!!)
I also get to spend the week working with my former boss from the stations that I worked at here in Roanoke. I’ve known Mark for 8 years now and he’s in Colorado and I’m in Virginia and while we talk every day, he can now make fun of me in person for four whole days…
But I think I have everything under control….
The laundry is done, so I had clean clothes to pack for us…
The dishes are all done so it doesn’t stink when we get back…
I cleaned out the fridge and made the kids eat up all the stuff that would go bad before we got back…
Sam is helping me get the last of my mass mailing out…. (she’s putting the stamps on… because I pay her $5 for every 100 that she does, so she has the ability to make $12.50 this afternoon…)
Matthew’s just staying out of my way for a bit before he goes to pack…
So that just leaves me to pack me and the kids… and then pray that everything goes smoothly this week while I’m gone… (because you know life can’t function without me, right?)
So, lots of prayers that I make it there safely and that nothing goes terribly wrong… but if I have to be delayed somewhere, it would be nice to be delayed in Atlanta tomorrow morning because my mom’s in Atlanta… and the ONE time that I don’t have a super huge layover, is the time that my mother could come and hang with me…
I’ll be blogging from Jackson… and I have some great pics of me to share…
plus lots of exciting things that have been going on around here that I’ve not had time to blog about since I’ve been trying to get ready to go!!!!
Until next time…
Heather
