I could complain about this weekend…

in Thoughts...

….but I won’t…

I could complain about my aching muscles…

…but I won’t because these aches are due to the 6+ miles that my kids and I walked this weekend and the time that we spent together…

I could complain that my parents are coming tomorrow….

…but I won’t because I know that not everyone has a mom and dad that come to visit because they were “in the neighborhood”…or even care at all…

I could complain that it’s nearly midnight and I’m still not in bed…

…but I won’t because if I had gone to bed earlier I would’ve missed out on the laughs that I had with a friend on MySpace and my clothes would still need folded…

I could complain that I have a blister on my thumb…

…but I won’t because that blister came from doing something around my house that my male friends people said I couldn’t do…and that project should be finished by next Sunday… Matthew and I set a goal today… :)

I could complain that it’s hot in this house…

…but I won’t because I have all the windows open and have for the last 3 nights… I have the ceiling fans on… but I’m NOT paying for gas to heat this place and the warmth and spring type temperatures are so very welcome here…

I could complain that my hair ALWAYS looks best right before I go to bed…

but I won’t and I’m going to! Seriously! I did nothing to it tonight when I got out of the shower except let it air dry and it looks awesome and there’s no one here but me to admire it…

Until next time…

Very clever, Heather!
Seriously, we are so quick to complain about things (OK, maybe that’s just me) and it’s good to read your thoughts and be reminded that while we “could complain,” there’s usually something better on which to dwell.
Thanks for sharing!

I love love love this post!!! Please don’t be offended if I choose to copy it in the future. :) It’s such a great reminder of the things we have to be grateful for.
