Like many, I’ve been glued to the coverage of what is going on…

But because it happened in my backyard, I get much more coverage than most of you… No Days of Our Lives, no Tyra, no Dr. Keith…. none of those…

we were watching the President of the United States land… get that? Airforce One was here… at OUR airport… hard to fathom…

and I think that it’s a little harder for those of us that are closer than for those elsewhere around the country with no links… (i’m NOT saying that it’s not hard for you, please don’t read it that way — that’s just what we’ve been talking about — between friends…)

I posted a comment on a friend’s blog that I was having trouble finding something to smile about….

Then I went to the grocery store… my new favorite wheat free snack bars are out.. I bought the last box 2 weeks ago… and they aren’t restocked and they didn’t have my new favorite wheat free bagels… luckily, I have a friend who is the store manager…

he put them on the list to order… :)

that made me smile…

we were shopping and he found me and told me they just marked some of the fruit cups down 1/2 price…

that made me smile…

I paid for them.. but they charged me full price… I caught it before we left…. when I went to customer service, they gave me all my money back… meaning i came in under budget by $3… so we went to dinner at Burger King…

that made me smile…

when I got home my son asked me to “proof” his secret admirer note

that made me smile…

and then I get a comment from Deena that said

Oh, Heather **in a sing-songy voice**

I left you something at Junk…come out and play:-)

and I smiled… :)

So, there are many things to smile about… it’s just a matter of perspective…

I like smiling.. and it uses less muscles…. :) and I would HATE to over exert myself….

Until next time…

Heather
