Oh the Drama…

So, I told you about Matthew and Brooke… and how her eyes glisten in the moonlight.

I thought I would give you a little update…

I did convince him not to include the glistening in the moonlight or the shiny teeth and he typed out the letter and gave it to Brooke…

Thursday, he told me Brooke found out that he was the secret admirer. I asked how she knew.

He said (and I so have to laugh) that she wrote him a note that said “Are you my secret admirer. Circle yes or no.”

Tonight, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Brooke.

She’s cute.

She likes him back. Or at least that’s what he told me tonight.

Julia’s parents really didn’t talk to me much tonight. I asked Matthew if Julia knew about Brooke and he said, “Of course! She’s my best friend! She was the first person that I told.” Um, excuse me?

Who tells their ex-girlfriend about your crush?

This poor kid….

in other news…

I spent the weekend with Lisa… nope, she wasn’t an axe murderer and I had the best time.

Howard said I could come back!

Whole Woman Day was amazing and I gleaned so much. I’ve been trying to formulate words since I returned but I haven’t been able to.

I think it’s amazing how God works… and how He’s been working through the internet. I’ve also been amazed to find out who has been praying for me and how long they have been praying for me. Pretty cool….

And speaking of God stuff…

you may remember me mentioning how there was a chance that Matthew might get a Big Brother through Big Brothers/Big Sisters…. well, it looked like Matthew was going to get a big brother before Samara got a big sis… Keith was to come and meet Matthew last night and Samara was very upset that she still had no big sister. Monday morning, I got a phone call from BBBS and they found a Big Sister for Samara… so Beth was here last night as well.

Both of them are going to be spending some time with their new Big Siblings on Thursday.

Now just how cool is that?
