I was tagged THREE times for this one (talk about feeling loved!)….
First by Surviving Motherhood (oh and if you haven’t read Karen’s book, Confessions of an Irritable Mother, you need to…) and then Musings of a Housewife and Deena at Junk in the Trunk….
Here are the rules. Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven people to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog!
So, here goes….
1. I got stuck in the dumpster on my due date with my youngest child… if you really want to read the whole debacle, you can do so here.
2. I’ve written three e-Books dealing with business and marketing but am working on a real book (you know, one that you can hold) but it will have nothing to do with business and marketing…. and everything to do with all those things I thought were GREAT ideas that really weren’t…. like dumpster diving on my due date (see #1).
3. Gross fact for you… well, maybe not gross, but disturbing? Matthew was due on my birthday, 20 years later…meaning that my parents were having sex on the same day I was 20 years earlier… the cool thing is that Matthew and I are 20 years apart (both January babies) and my brother and Samara are 20 years apart (both August babies)… God knew that I was HORRIBLE at remembering birthdays and anniversaries so he gave me a way to remember!
4. When I was a child, I not only stole Baby Jesus in the Christmas Pageant, but I also jumped in the Ostrich cage at the National Zoo… (when I say my kids are payback, I’m not lying…. ) When I say stole Baby Jesus, it was actually during the pageant… I was an angel… and I just walked up to the manger, took Him, and left the stage… and apparently there were alarms involved in the Zoo incident…
5. I was once in an accident in Greensboro, NC and while it was my fault (it wasn’t horrible), the other driver did not have a license… (he wasn’t from the US either… and driving someone else’s car…) He received a ticket and I didn’t… but the insurance company didn’t buy my story about how he didn’t have a license and that if he wasn’t on the road, illegally, I wouldn’t have hit him…. so if you ever think about using that, don’t… it won’t work….
Hmm…. this is difficult… there’s not too much I’ve not shared with you all that I can think of….
6. I’ve dated all of the Village People (not literally) with the exception of the Indian…. and it’s nothing discriminatory… no Native American ever asked me out… however, I have a few friends who are on the look out because they think that it would be hysterical for me to be able to say that I’ve dated the Village People (great friends, I have ….)
7. I attended Catholic school for a few years while living in Philly. I’m not Catholic but I always had the highest Theology grade. (Which is funny, because I don’t remember ANYTHING from those years in regards to Theology…)
There you have it…
Seven random things about me…
So, because I’m a rules kinda gal…. here are the 7 that I’m tagging (do I even have that many friends?)
- Lisa @ simply His
- Becki @ Introverted & Loving It!
- Jenn @ I Call Times!
- Jaime @ Mom. Dad. Big Boy. Little Boy.
- Beki @ Pampering Beki
- Meg @ Simplynutmeg.com
- Stephanie @ Blogging in the Bathtub
Ok, that was painful… not on top of my game today….
With that being said, I have another one of these fun little meme’s to do as well as an update on our trip to Williamsburg… oh and all the other random things that are going on around here that I’m SURE you’re dying to know!
Unfortunately, I have to work for a little bit….
Until next time…
Heather

Ok, I GUESS I’ll do it. But ONLY because I like you.
Hey, I tagged you for EIGHT…You owe me one more useless, I mean, RANDOM fact about your fine, fine self…and I, too, wanna have a friend who’s dated all of the Village People…since I myself dated all of the Village Idiots…before I met my man:-)
Fun! Thanks for playing.
You can hold an ebook…if you print it out.
Thanks for the tag – I need to really think! First fact: I have trouble thinking.
Better late than never, right?
Just wrote my random facts
Now I guess I’ve got to figure out the teenage years thing — like what I can share and what I can’t. I might not be able to come up with 7 things I can share
