We all have them…
the kind of friends that offer to drive all the way from Pennsylvania to Virginia to watch your kids for a week while you’re on a business trip…
the kind of friends that still come even though your business trip was canceled…
the kind of friends that bring you wheat free/gluten free pasta shells so that you can make stuffed shells…
the kind of friends that don’t care if your house is a mess…
the kind of friends who arrive and notice that your dishes need done… and do them… even though you’ve thrown a tantrum and told them to get out of the kitchen…
the kind of friends who fight with you in line at the grocery store because they want to pay but they eventually let you…
the kind of friends who later on say they want to go to the mall but sneak off to the grocery store and fill your fridge with lots of edible stuff that’s not expired…
the kind of friends who offer to watch your kids so that you can sneak away for a little bit…
the kind of friends who tell you that you just made the best lasagna they’ve ever had… and mean it…
the kind of friends that love you just the way you are… including all your imperfections…
you know… those kinds of friends…
you have them too, don’t you?
