It is HOT in Mississippi….
HOT!
When I was here in March, the heat was a nice change to the temperatures back home…
but now?
How do you Mississippians do it?
On an unrelated note, I’ve had a good time here, although it was short…I’ve worked my tail of and will only have more to do when I’m home… which means that they believe I am fully capable of doing my job….
..boy do I have them snowed… ha ha ha…
i’m totally kidding!
I don’t get in until almost midnight tomorrow night and I’m sleeping in on Thursday… then I’m going to work… then I’m going to finish cleaning my house and get ready for the missions team coming from Southgate, Michigan. I’m excited about their visit… 
And then I’m going to enjoy my house… my city… my friends… my dog… for a whole week and a half…. and one of these days, I’m going to figure out how many miles I have traveled this summer… right now, I’m just too darned tired to think about it…
But I can tell you that in the past 2.5 weeks I have been in Raleigh, NC, Jackson, MS, Detroit, MI, Columbia, MO, St. Louis, MO, Charlotte, NC, and on my next trip I get to add Chicago to the mix…. I’m a traveling fool!
Ok, maybe just a fool….

Well, I guess we just get used to it! Seriously, I learned to cope as I was growing up in it. Lots of air conditioning, to combat melting going from your car to the building!
Holy smokes, that’s a lot of traveling!
I’ll be doing a spot of traveling for work soon. I’ll be in Florida from 7/29-8/3 and then in Las Vegas 9/4-9/20.
I really don’t like traveling all that much because it takes me away from my little Snuggle Bug (my 2 1/2 year old son).
Oh well, what can you do?
