I have a whole list of things that I’ve said to my pastor… perhaps one day I’ll get around to sharing them all… but since this one happened yesterday and is fresh on my mind and because I have nothing particularly whitty/funny/thought provoking today, I’ll share it…
I’m sure alot of you do this… but in order to keep your glass sticking to the napkin at a restaurant, you put salt on it…
so he did that and then I did that…
Pastor Man: You do that too?
Me: Yeah… it’s an old bar trick… is that where you learned about it too?
Just one of those thoughts that I meant to keep inside my head….

Seeing as how my man is a pastor this cracks me up. The thing you have to remember is that pastors weren’t always saints! I always laugh my head off when I people get embarrassed over things they say to him because I knew him back in the day…ya’ll have no idea!!

Before he became a pastor he could have learned it? What did he say when you asked him?
That cracks me up! Sometimes I have to stop and remind myself that my friend (he’s a youth pastor) is still ‘human’ and not some saint. I have to remind myself that he has a past just like I do and that I have no reason to feel embarassed around him for things I say, etc.
But that’s funny that you asked him that
What was his answer?
My hubby/pastor would have just laughed:-)
