November is apparently the month to type your little fingers off…
So I’ve got two cool things to share with you…
First off, let’s talk about NaBloPoMo… which would stand for National Blog Posting Month…
You can get all the deets here… but basically, you sign up… you post every day for the entire month of November (including weekends) and at the end there are prizes and other people come and visit your blog and you meet new friends and you’re challenged… as if we aren’t challenged enough in life, right?
But it looks fun, and yes, I signed up…
Secondly…
For those of you who really want a challenge… and you want to write a novel… and you haven’t yet, for whatever reason… there’s NaNoWriMo… which is National Novel Writing Month, in which you write a novel… a 50,000 word, 175-page novel in 30 days. And at the end you have a novel and a nifty certificate that you’ve done it… in addition to the satisfaction that you’ve done it…
and yes, I signed up for that one too…
Call me crazy…
But seriously, I’ve wanted to do this for a long time… and you know what? I might not meet that goal, but I will have tried. And that’s more than I’ve ever done before!

It sounds really fun. I probably won’t sign up this time but may be next year.
This year is too busy.
I signed up!!! lol I’m a glutton for punishment. I’m trying to do a blog a day for October and failing. But maybe this could be practice for the REAL challenge?
