…at least our hopes and dreams of making it to the Super Bowl did…
they were a good team… and we played (and cheered) our little hearts out…
but in the end, the Falcons beat us… 18-6.
The boys were devastated. They worked so hard, despite Mother Nature working against us.l They wanted to win. It was pretty evident today. They have nothing to hang their heads about. They made us proud… even if they didn’t win.
But I can tell you this… we are the first Little League team in Titan history to make it this far. And that’s something to be pretty proud of.
Matthew is handling it pretty well… but I do think it’s time to pull out Facing the Giants… of course he told me before he played today that he would praise Him if he won or lost… but maybe it’s a good day to watch it again…
My emotions are mixed. Yes, I’m excited to have my nights back but it was just one more week… and the Super Bowl is pretty amazing…
but there’s always next year…
