A hypothetical…

So, say you were a 31 year-old woman and you were planning on being in the company of a nice gentleman on a Thursday night…

Other than the movies, what kind of date ideas could you come up with…

Purely hypothetical, of course…

Until next time…

How about roller skating or Ice skating?

My husband and I have enjoyed doing things like batting cages/arcades, but I don’t know if that’s what you’re looking for or not.

You could also go to a museum, or a special exhibit (like traveling exhibitions).

Hypothetically speaking, that is.

Um, this is exciting…my favorite date is dinner and a bookstore. You can gather a lot of information about someone by what kind of books they read. Conversation just seem to flow easily for me at bookstores, too. And then there’s the cafe and maybe a musician…perfect date if you ask me! Let us know how it goes!

Museums, concerts, art exhibits, bowling, sports event…

Any of those tickle your fancy?

I am totally drawing a blank, that is what I get for getting married & having a baby at 19, lol. Hope you have fun though, hypothetically!

Well, hypothetically, of course, I would schedule this date during Survivor season, coming up next month, and I would cook him dinner! Something tropical and island-ish maybe? I would not wear a bikini if this is a first date. Not a good idea. Maybe a grass skirt? Then i would watch the show together and cheer for my favorite player!

I enjoy a nice dinner at a nice restaurant. Makes for good conversation.

Hmm…well, I met my husband when I was 19 and we married a few years later so I really have NO experience. He’s stuck with me because I’d be clueless – and of course cuz I love him and all that mushy junk. But I’d say keep it casual, somewhere that you can have conversation to get to know him & somewhere you are comfortable. I’m sure a first date would be nervous enough so if it’s something you enjoy that makes it easier. When hubby & I were dating we liked going bowling. Time for conversation, fun activity & you can see how you do when being a little competitive.

My husband and I have enjoyed trips to arcade like places like Dave and Busters and GameZone. It is especially fun if there are games you can play together or against each other. If you know of a fondue restaurant those can be fun. Depending on the weather where you live walking around a downtown area can be nice as well. Hope this helps. Have fun (hypothetically of course)!

I’m also 31, but my husband and I just go to eat and to the movies usually. Although sometimes browsing a bookstore is fun.

Yes, we’re boring. lol!

I’d love to be entered in your drawing. :)

funny, but my first thoughts were mentioned – dinner and bookstore (with a cafe for dessert?), Dave & Busters or similar, or gallery of some type. Even a nice antique/vintage mall or large store is great to browse while the surroundings spark conversation, best hypothetical luck ;)
