Sounds so much like my family vacations when I was a kid. But get this…several years ago, my brother and sister in law called and asked if we wanted to fly to Iowa from Alabama, and go to Niagara Falls and then ride down the East Coast with them back to Alabama. We of course said yes, because we had never seen Niagara Falls, and probably never would, so this sounded great. We flew to Iowa, got picked up at the airport and immediately started our trek to Niagara in my brother’s new Chevy Van. The thing I had forgotten, was that my brother and I always fight when we see each other. It might be a year between visits, and sometime before he leaves to go back to Iowa we fight. Well, imagine being stuck in a van for d a y s . We were argueing before we even got to Detroit! We traveled over into Canada, then finally made it to Niagara and guess how long we stayed. 3 hrs. 3 whole hours. And two of those hours were stopping at a park, breaking out the portable grill they had packed, and cooking hamburgers. I can’t even remember what city we drove to after that to spend the night, but the next day we traveled all day and we made it to Myrtle Beach…another place I had wanted to see. Guess what we did? We walked along the beach for 30 minutes…went to our motel, slept and the next morning we drove to Alabama. I swear to God, by the time we made it back home I was about ready to kill my brother! That was probably the dumbest thing we have ever done!

Too funny! Although I would be caught dead drinking Pepsi, it sounds like bloopers that my family would be caught in. (Did that make sense?)

The World of Coca Cola is one of my favorite places to visit, especially the tasting room!
