Welcome to Desperately Seeking Sanity and my little giveaway…. in the past I’ve given away something everyday, but this time around, I’ll just be giving away this little gem from The Vintage Pearl….
I met the owner of The Vintage Pearl while at BlogHer this year and I love her items in her Esty Shop. So, I decided that from here on out, I’ll be picking items from bloggers who are running businesses and giving away something of theirs… on me. I’m giving back and you’re getting a prize and it’s so much more fun than your standard gift certificate to a local retailer. (Not that I don’t love giving them away too!

Oh, how pretty! I’m one of those who wear the same jewelry everyday and feels naked without it. I do, sometimes, switch my necklace and bracelet, but just between a few different items.
Love this ring!
I change my jewelry every day depending on my mood and to match what I’m wearing. Many days I don’t wear anything if I’m just going to be home cleaning, etc.

I wear the same stuff every day but every once in a while I’ll throw on one of my homemade bracelets. But I would feel totally naked without my rings. I wear a white gold & opal family heirloom, a white gold & aquamarine birthstone ring, and a silver “trinity” ring (one of those with 3 bands intertwined, a Mother’s Day present from my kids years ago).

I basiclly wear rings that are near and dear to me, including my wedding ring. That’s about it. If I feel I need to dress up for work, I do have some cute necklaces and earrings.

This ring and the necklaces at The Vintage Pearl are beautiful. I always tend to wear the same things…my wedding ring, a silver watch/bracelet and some small silver earrings. I only break out the jewelry box for special occasions and then I am actually surprised. “Oh, I forgot I had this.” I guess I should make more of an effort on a daily basis.
I usually wear my engagement ring, wedding ring, charm bracelet and hoop earrings
Then I add on a necklace depending on the outfit I’m wearing. That ring looks gorgeous! Thank you!
I wear jewelry mostly for special occasions. I just try to make as many days special as I can. I wear earrings a few times a week, and necklaces to church on Sunday. If I’m going out with friends or my husband, or going to band practice I also try to accessorize with some jewelry.

I switch out my jewelry. I used to only wear gold, but I started wearing more silver the past few years. It is cheaper, so you can change it more often.

I wear my wedding set all the time and definitely would feel nekkid without it!! I also feel naked without earrings, and I change them up most every day, although I do have my favs that I wear over and over.
I like to wear a right hand ring and have several, and change it up depending on the outfit.
Necklaces I wear occasionally, but they bug my neck (I must have been hanged in a previous life!!) so I don’t wear them every day.

I do wear my wedding rings daily (a lovely pink sapphire with platinum band) I switch out my neckalaces and since I work with children I dont prefer to wear much jewelry around them cause it gets pulled and tugged.. so it’s a special treat to wear jewelry when I go on outings etc…

I wear my wedding ring and silver watch every day when out of the house. I also wear earrings every day. Usually silver ones. I keep saying I will try something new, but I never do. When at home I don’t wear any jewlery. I do always (even bathing and sleeping) wear a bracelet made of swivel hooks that is from a retreat. My son plays with it whenever we are holding him and he is tired.

I love that ring though…
I don’t wear much jewelry, but I do like necklaces. Sometimes I will take a ring and string it on a chain to wear around my neck, because I type a lot on don’t like too many things on my fingers.
What an unusual ring! I never used to be much for wearing jewellry apart from my two rings, but now I tend to wear a different necklace and set of earrings every day, to the point where during the day I automatically reach for my necklace at some point and if it’s not there I feel wierd!!

I wear the same jewelry everyday. Same necklace, same ring. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I LOVE jewelry and have several full jewelry boxes to prove it. HOWEVER, on a day to day basis, I keep it simple, diamonds! I wear diamond studs, my diamond wedding band, a diamond anniversary band, and a diamond journey necklace. It’s not that I’m rich or snobbish or anything. It’s just that my husband quickly figured out that diamonds were the one thing I wouldn’t return if he bought them for me.

Jewelry I wear always..always…always; my engagement and wedding ring, a necklace of some sort, either something subtle for everyday, or something big and gaudy to go with an outfit, and at least one pair of earrings in the additional two sets of holes I have added to my head.
I also wear a ring that symbolizes and reminds me of my “Eternal Groom”. This ring reminds me of purity and would be a great addition to add to my “digits”!

I just started making jewelry myself (chicmade.etsy.com) so I’ve been wearing more and more since it’s more likely to fit perfectly and be just what I wanted for a certain outfit if I made it for myself. But making my own jewelry also makes me appreciate the work others put into theirs. Wire wrapping is something I totally haven’t figured out yet so I appreciate what work went into that beautiful ring. Thanks for the chance to win it!

I wear my little hoop earrings that my hubby gave me. My wedding and engagement rings and my sapphire ring that hubby gave me on our first x-mas together. I would wear a simple necklace, too, but I have a 7 month old who would likely try to pull it off
Well, I always wear my wedding rings and a ring hubbie gave me for our first anniversary. Plus I always have my diamond pendant and studs too. But I always mix it up with bracelets…oh boy do I have a ton of bracelets!

I wear the same jewelry all the time. I have a gold diamond ring that was my mothers (she passed away 5 years ago). A silver trinity ring that my kids got me for christmas this last year. And winning this ring, which by the way pearl is my birthstone, would absolutly look terrific on my finger and it matches everything.
I used to wear jewelry everyday, but since having kids – the only jewelry I wear on a daily basis is my wedding set and my mother’s wedding band.
My wedding ring got tight & I haven’t replaced it. I have a simple bead bracelet that I wear to remind me that God tells women to have a meek and quiet spirit (NOT my nature LOL) and I wear a watch when I remember. Once in awhile I wear funky earrings, but not very often, too lazy to bother with them I guess LOL.

I’m the person that has a whole jewelry box full of earrings and necklaces, and rings. You know how some of the jewelry boxes have hanging things to hang earrings, well I have ten ridges and on each one, there are about 4 earrings on each. Crazy. I feel naked without any jewelry on, it feels weird. Every day, I have two bracelets on each hand, one ring on each ring finger, a pair of earrings, and two relgious bands on my wrists. Overwhelming but comfortable.

I just wear my gold wedding band on most days. Sometimes I add a simple pendant with my first name engraved on it – it was a gift from my host family in Germany the year I was an exchange student there. On the back is the name of the town (Neustadt) and the year (1981). I have a diamond engagement ring that I’ll put on when I get all dressed up. And my favorite ring (which I bought for myself when still single) is a sterling silver and amethyst one-of-a-kind band. I love organic looking hand crafted jewelry!

I have certain pieces I wear all the time, and other pieces I coordinate to go with my clothing color. I mostly change earrings and necklaces to go with clothes, and leave the rings just as they are!
I don’t wear much jewlery at all. I pick one or two pieces on special ocasions and on Sunday, but every other day I just wear my wedding ring. This ring is very pretty and I’d love to win it!
I’m so boring when it comes to jewlery. I wear the same gold watch I’ve worn for over 10 years, my wedding band and engagement ring and a pink sapphire every single day. However, I do mix things up every now and then and wear my big silver hoop earrings instead of the small silver hoop earrings. WoooHooo!!

Oh yay, not too late! It is so pretty! I sorta fluctuate between wearing new stuff a lot to not wearing anything at all. I make most of my jewelry (Im a bead addict), but I still go days without wearing any…go figure.
I try to wear a different necklace everyday… I have a lot of different charm pendants that I like to try. I also make my own polymer clay charms for necklaces that I wear often!

I think I’m late – but I just got back from vacation. I’d love to win this ring. I like jewelry – but only wear on special occassions – usually I’m running too late to have time to accessorize! I can’t even wear my wedding ring – because of the 25 pounds I’ve gained since I got married!
