Oh my son is the same when it comes to reading. He finds most books boring but when he finds one that he likes, he cannot put it down until he's done. I will totally look into this for him - that trailer was way cool. Are there any other James Patterson books that you might recommend for a 12 yr old?

I love books with short chapters too, especially with having kids. I'm supposed to be reviewing this book, do you think my almost 11 year old daughter would like it or to boyish?

She hates reading & actually reminds me a lot of boys with how she feels about reading. She isn't a tomboy, very girl girl except when it comes to books. Totally acts like a boy, she will only read on the internet or girl comics, lol.

I may have to look into this book and the author for that matter. My oldest is in a reading slump as well. He's on the 5th Harry Potter book and he's fizzled out. Maybe this one would recharge his reading battery.
