This post would’ve made me laugh out loud, if everyone else in my house wasn’t asleep right now and I wasn’t trying to keep them that way.

My strategy – I shop for supplies WITHOUT Anna Marie. That way I can get the 15 cent folders (hey, I just realized there is no cent sign on my keyboard!) and not the ones that cost 10 times that, just because Ms. Cyrus graces the cover.

I fully endorse the school-supplied school supplies idea.

The school my boys will be attending this year does offer them to pre purchase school supplies, however, neither of them were in that school last year where we could have ordered them. How it works is you order the supplies at the end of the year for the following year and they deliver them right to your desk for Open house! Everything is included...makes life so much easier! Every year is a hassle and I hate it. I would happily give the school money to just purchase the supplies for me. I had to finish buying school supplies today and Wal-Mart was a mad house. I think it was actually worse than it is at Christmas. Thankfully I have finished shopping and am done...or at least until the teachers' decide they need something else for the classroom.
