Ok, there’s this new game.. or maybe it’s not new, but it’s new to me, which means it’s new.
Here’s how you play…
Visit 4 of your daily blog reads. From each blog choose another blog from their blogroll that you’ve never visited.
Try that blog out for a month and see what happens. They may become your new fave, who knows! Then duplicate the main part of this post with a note on whose blog you got it from. Name the four new blogs you are going to read, tell briefly why you chose them and whose blog roll they came from. And if you want, coerce others mercilessly into joining in!
For the record, I’m blaming Jen for all of the work that I don’t get done because I’m doing this.. Thanks Jen! Love ya! Mean it!

Ok, so now I’m reading this post by Nicole @ Apron Strings Aflutter (I met her at BlogHer you know) and I’m going to refrain from entering the contest on this post until I complete my assignment… From her blog roll, I’m going with Just Another Day in Paradise… we have stuff in common… there are pictures of children playing soccer on her blog too…

Kelsey @ My Sweet Life is on a bloggy break according to this post… and I know how she feels with everything going on… prayers for you Kelsey… don’t mind me… i’m just taking a peek at your blog roll to find someone new to read for a month… how about… My Nut Village? Lovin’ it… and they just went through Ike, but they are all safe… just some clean up work to be done by the menfolk.
And we need one more…
And that brings me to Bri’s post on Fun Photo Friday… remember Bri? She’s the one I slept with at BlogHer… that toally came out wrong… anywho… from her blogroll, because I really just want to be done with this already… So we’ve got The Typing Makes Me Sound Busy…
Four hours later, I’ve selected 4 new blogs to read… and in all honesty? I knew I shouldn’t have played this game to begin with… but I did anyway…
Which, again proves that just because you can, doesn’t mean you should…

This is a great idea. But then I might get sidetracked for HOURS. I hope someone picks me to read. Hmm, but then I’d have to play, right? We’ll see. (That’s Mommy Speak for Yeah, Right!)
