My parents' divorce was about the best I'd seen in my life. They didn't like each other, make no mistake, and they weren't friends like you and your ex, but they put me and my sister first. They didn't talk about each other to us, they didn't run messages through us; in no way were we ever put in the middle of their nastiness. To this day, I can point to their handling of the divorce as the reason I am the person I am. I admire the way you and your ex are dealing with your kids. They will grow up healthy and strong emotionally. They are more blessed than they know now.
