I really have no excuse…

OMG!  How embarrassing.  I can’t believe the amount of time it’s been since I posted and even that one wasn’t a good one.  Just a random update.  Boring.

And guess what?  This one will be much the same.  It’s not that I don’t have anything to write about because I do.  I have accomplished so many things, changed in so many ways, and embarked on so many new adventures that I could be writing for days.

But, one of those changes that I made was spending less time on the computer.  You see, working from an office all day and staying focused (as well as blogging and twittering) leaves me no desire to get on the computer in the evenings.  In fact, I simply pop on to check my email (sometimes as I get it on my phone during the day) and that’s about it.

Pretty sad, isn’t it?

Actually, it’s not.  There was a time that I was posting one to two times a day and we all know how prolific I am.  That takes time.  Now, I’m spending that time in other ways.  I’m cooking.  I’m cleaning.  I’m doing dishes.  And laundry.  And reading stories, playing games, star gazing, or partying it up with my new PartyLite business.  (Now, there’s a blog post in and of itself!)

Oh who am I kidding?  I’m doing all of these things because I don’t have internet for most of the evenings and so when I get home, I get the kids in the bed and then I check email, twitter a bit and head to bed.  The mojo is gone.

The desire to write is gone. 

Just vanished.

Whereas it once was that I wanted to write, but couldn’t, because I allowed someone to take it from me, the words are now there, but the desire is gone.

Perhaps it’s because I still can’t say everything that I want to say.  Perhaps that it’s because what’s the point when I have to be so secretive about my life. 

Who knows?

But do you want to know something?  I don’t miss it.  I don’t feel guilty about it.

What I do miss are you all and for those of you who have emailed (besides when your blogs were broken) just to say hello, please know that it made my day…

It really did.  They always do.

And to be completely honest, this post had to end now as well.

There’s a gorgeous man calling me, I call him the boy… and he is the best thing that’s ever happened to me…

and this blog?  This post?

Totally not worth giving up the chance to talk to him and say goodnight…

And yes, I know I promised you an update on the new job and I started one… 15 days ago..

I’ll finish it soon so that you’ll be in the know…

but I’ll leave you with this… here’s something my boss said to me last week…

“Thanks for Twittering today.”

I’m telling ya.. the Lord is blessing me in a mighty way.
