Heh.
This coming from the woman who used to blog at least once, sometimes twice a day and then stopped.
But maybe I can do it.
Maybe I can find something to share every single day this month.
Even if it’s just a verse that I’m meditating on… or maybe the latest book that I’m reading.
But today, I can tell you two things…
No, actually three…
First, it’s my parent’s anniversary this year… they were married in 1975… so that makes 34 years of wedded bliss. My mother will tell you that she loves him more today than the day that she married him. Well, she told me that awhile ago, but I’m sure that it still holds true.
Second, the boy’s youngest turns FIVE today… FIVE… and we have a princess cake for the princess…
And then you know what else?
The house is plagued… everyone keeps getting sick… the boy’s oldest got sick Wednesday, Samara followed Thursday, the boy on Friday and Matthew yesterday… and today? The princess, on her birthday, is just so tired… no fever yet, but it’s obvious that she’s not herself…
So while the house was supposed to be filled with the boy’s family, they’ve chosen to avoid us since they don’t want to get sick… which I TOTALLY understand but I’m just over everyone being sick. Sam, the boy and I already had the flu…
That was just two weeks ago… and after that I got a sinus infection and the boy got bronchitis…
Just done with it…
Over it…
But we’re going to go and celebrate the life of one princess today and try to make the most of it…
