We all know that I don’t watch a whole lot of TV. I just don’t.
But there are a few shows that I will add in the background just for noise and I follow along. Most of them are ones that I was addicted to awhile back but lost interest in once the boy and his clan came along.
I’ve always been a big fan of Ugly Betty. Always. She’s a good person and watching her struggle in the world with her morals and values is fun to watch, simply because sometimes? I feel like I can relate.
I don’t like all of the storylines. Some of them I just kind of deal with because I want to see Betty grow and succeed and excel.
Anywho.
When Betty was on Thursdays, it was often hard to catch her because 8pm is typically bedtime and family time. But then?
My daughter alerted me that Betty would now be on Friday nights.
WHAT?
FRIDAY?
“Mom, that’s a great thing! We can watch it together now when I’m not with dad,” she says to me.
And that part? I love.
We always watched it.. all 3 of us. It was our thing before the boy and his clan came along. We all looked forward to it.
But that’s not what I was bothered by.
I was bothered by the fact that it’s now on Friday.
In TV world… Friday nights are where TV shows go to die.
Friday night is not a must see TV night. In the summer, no one is home and really, in the winter they aren’t either. It’s the lowest rated night during the week.
So I’m kinda bummed. We were just starting to get back into it and now? It’s move to Friday night can’t be seen as a positive…
Meaning…
Ugly Betty?
Probably on the chopping block.

Uhm no Ugly Betty better not be on the chopping block. It’s my all time favorite, give up anything to watch show! I relate to Ugly Betty in so many ways. LOL I’ll truly be devastated if the show dies!!!
