Right now, LB thinks that SC is a snowman. We will be calling him Saint Nicholas and teaching her the story of the real person behind that story. I only want to deal with the craziness of people asking if LB is ready for Santa Claus for a short time. More than a month of that drives me crazy! I’m with you. I refuse to listen to Christmas music before black friday. I did start shopping earlier this year but only because I am working more than usual right now and do not want to fight the crowds after Thanksgiving. And to be truly honest, I don't even really like the exchanging gifts part. I am a firm believer that Christmas is about Christ, God's gift to us, and spending time with family. I would be perfectly content without a single gift sent my way. I do enjoy seeing the kids open gifts but we do teach them what Christmas is truly about. So I do understand where you are coming from.
