Just to Set the Record Straight

in Dorks R Us, Grins and Giggles, Heather's Quirks, the boy, Yo!

You may remember a few Thursdays ago I talked about how the boy and I were waiting to see if a certain DVD would arrive.

Actually, he was convinced that my mother wouldn’t do that to him. I know my mother well.

Or at least I thought I did until I received an Amazon package in the mail before the DVD I wanted was released.

I said to the boy before I opened said package “either she got me the wrong dvd or she decided to get me something else.”

He grinned.

I opened the package. It was the Money Pit. And we’ve gotten her money’s worth out of that movie. I think we’ve watched it 10 times in the last two weeks. It just never gets old.

“I’m in the floor behind the chair!”

“Mozart is dead. His problems are over. Help me!”

Nope. Never gets old.

I was tickled with the movie but even more when I read the packing slip. “Enjoy. More to come later.”

I knew she had ordered it. But the boy was holding out hope.
I’m here to crush it.

The dvd arrived sometime this week. What dvd?

NKOTB Coming Home.

Proving that my mom loves me more.

But let me tell you how much I love the boy…

I’m watching it at my house so as to not subject him to it…

At least, not this first viewing…

Until next time…

I loved Money Pit, too.

Until Ladybug came along, my husband was my mom’s “baby.” And he still acts like he is the baby when it comes to my mom. He loves to pout and tease her. I’m so glad that he and my mom have such a great relationship. (But *I* will always be her baby, even though she pays more attention to the grandkids now.)

I love Money Pit, it has to be one of my favorite movies. Plus one of the few that I can watch over & over again!
