…I properly resurrected Jesus with the cookies. Although I was panicing slightly last night because the batter wouldn’t form stiff peaks.
While His tomb should have been in a mound like shape, ours looked moore like grave stones. Oh well. They cracked over night and were mostly hallow this morning.
However, with Easter baskets and pancakes on the table this morning, I shoved them back in the oven to conserve space and when I preheated the oven for the ham, forgot where I had stashed them.
The joke is now that not only did I resurrect Him but I also sent Him to hell.
Fortunately, people don’t use my Easter story cookies to tell the world what happened on this special day…
He is Risen!
